Bernie has been the Chief Executive Officer at Wanigas Credit Union since 2000. He began his credit union career twelve years ago at Wanigas Credit Union as Chief Financial Officer. Previous to entering the credit union industry, he was in the savings bank industry since 1989.
He has a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting from the University of Missouri at Columbia and a Masters of Business Administration from St. Louis University. He is a Certified Public Accountant.
Bernie had served on the Executive Board of the United Way of Saginaw County and had prior experience with the United Way of Bay County. He is a Chapter Executive of the Mid Michigan Chapter of the Michigan Credit Union League.
As Chief Executive Officer and President of Earthmover Credit Union, Libby Calderone is responsible for the management of all aspects of the credit union’s activities, as well as member satisfaction.
An active volunteer in the community, Calderone is a member of the Credit Union Executives Society (CUES). She serves as the Director of the Illinois Credit Union League Service Corporation (LSC); Director of Excess Share Insurance (ESI); and she is a member of the American Share Insurance Advisory Council.
A graduate of the University of Illinois, Calderone is a past recipient of the Illinois CUES Financial Officer of the Year.
Shane London is President and Chief Executive Officer of Deseret First Federal Credit Union in Salt Lake City, Utah. He has served in this capacity since 2012, previously serving as Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer. He has worked for the Credit Union since 1985.
London’s community and industry service includes serving on the Board of Directors for Deseret First Financial Services, and as Board Treasurer of the Ouelessebougou Alliance, a non-profit organization that works in partnership with the villages in the rural Ouelessebougou region of Mali, Africa, to provide sustainable health, education and economic opportunities.
He holds his Bachelor’s of Science degree in Accounting from the University of Utah and is a graduate of CUNA Management School.
Carlos Pacheco is currently Chief Executive Officer of Premier Members Federal Credit Union based in Boulder, Colorado. Pacheco has served in this capacity since January 2011. He brings more than 25 years of financial services experience serving in a variety of leadership roles in both for-profit and not-for-profit financial sectors. Prior professional experience includes technology, operations and retail leadership roles for Bank of America, First National Bank of San Diego and Desert Schools Federal Credit Union.
He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from the University of Phoenix.
