CMG Memorial Scholarship Fund
Supporting Education for Professionals at Small Credit Unions
Most would agree that keeping abreast of vital industry matters, developing actionable strategies, and trading ideas with peers are keys to effective leadership. Unfortunately, the ability of CEOs at smaller credit unions to attend educational events and network with colleagues can be hampered by budget constraints.
That is where a foundation created by Alloya Corporate comes in. Supported by various contributions, including generous donations from organizations like yours, the CMG Memorial Scholarship provides grants to cover travel, lodging and tuition for executives at member credit unions with assets under $100 million. Scholarships enable individuals in Alloya’s membership community to attend conferences hosted by the corporate.
The CMG Story
In January, 2001, a cherished employee, Christine M. Gross (CMG), passed away after a long battle with cancer. As a Senior Business Consultant for the corporate, she was an advocate for all the credit unions she represented, but it was small credit unions that held a special place in her heart.
Christine’s volunteer work at a community development credit union in Rochester, NY is well known. Her warmth and professional dedication continue to be greatly missed.
